Hi Everyone. I'm looking for year 3/4 classes interested in email and or Skype for the next few weeks (before Christmas). The students are 8 and 9 years old and are studying communication. We live in Victoria, Australia so our time zone is GMT +11. If you can help out let me know by email.
Thanks
Lois

I have 15 2nd graders. We are looking for activities. We study plants, magnets, changes, and map skills and communities.

Looking for classes (grade 2 or ages 7-9) to participate in a collaborative story project. It is easy to do and fits right into reading/writing curriculum. Check it out here: http://writeyourstory.wikispaces.com/ Hope you can join us!

Hi Everyone -

I'm trying to organize an online meeting using Skype for first grade teachers wanting to connect and plan a few activities for the new US school year. Kindergarten teachers would be welcome as well.

I'm using Doodle as a tool to schedule a meeting and here's the link if you want to indicate your availability. Make sure I have your email address by sending me a message in the ning as well. I'm not sure if there is a place to leave your email address when using Doodle.

This may not work perfectly because we'll never find an ideal time for all time zones, but let's see how it goes!

Here's the link to the Doodle calendar.

Hi

I am thrilled to see this ning and group. I m a technology integration facilitator working in Doha Qatar. Our school only starts t the end of September but I am hoping to work with many of our students and teachers on collaborative projects once school begins. Hopefully this wont be too late and we will get some exciting projects going.

Hi everyone. I'm a new member of this group and looking forward to exchanging ideas. I work as an EFL educator in a primary school in Vienna, Austria and am especially interested in finding EFL resources which have a global perspective and suitable for young learners of English. I'm also keen on collaborative projects with other primary classrooms (EFL would be ideal) around the world!

Hi All

Would like to let you know about a great new site Primary Teachers Network: www.primaryteachersnetwork.ning.com ....please also read Elementary Teachers Network :)... that's right... just for the teachers who deal with the little guys!
To get straight to the point, the differentiating factors are:
1) Huge bank of interactive white board activities for maths, science, games and english (5000+ and growing)
2) Quality blog with a great array of modern educational tools and ideas.
We are hoping to have some more quality input from the worldwide community to build some more depth in the content/ posts
