A few more ways to follow:
twitter.com/inauguration (which, I believe, is run by the local CBS affiliate in DC) and twitter.com/connect2canada, run by the Canadian Embassy in Washington, which is right on Pennsylvania Ave at the start of the parade route and where all the Canadian media will be reporting from.

I also just read on learning.now about a group of students from Worcester Academy in Massachusetts who are running a full social media reporting project from DC for the Inauguration: http://wainauguration.org/

Were you aware that Obama inauguration has a twitter address?

Even though I grew up in DC, I've only ever watched Inaugurations on television, so I'm very excited for this one! I will be using mostly Twitter and this Flickr set to post my Inauguration adventures, and I'm investigating whether I can put Gcast to work too.

Hello,
I am a 6th grade teacher in Sparta, NJ looking to skype with another midde school 5-8 somewhere in the nation after the inaugural speech. We are also working on a collaborative google site, http://sites.google.com/site/anewbirthoffreedom/ and would love to get another school involved. Email me at: erica.hartman@sparta.org

I have created a wiki with links to newspapers from different sections of the U.S. as well as the world. We are going to examine the inauguration speech and coverage post event and compare/contrast how it is covered and discussed. If someone is interested in collaborating, perhaps we could link wikis?

I'll be in D.C. from Monday through Wednesday with a group of high school students from Honors Contemporary Issues class and their teacher. We have secured 20 tickets to the inauguration. I worked with many of these students on our statewide Mock Election back in October. Hope to participate in some collaboration of classes as they are very excited for this tour and event. Will do my best to twitter and share photos. Lots of restrictions for carrying items, though. Also found some good resources at http://www.thinkfinity.org/Inauguration.aspx
