I am a technology teacher in a small Catholic School in New Jersey, USA. I feel very strongly about including global awareness in our curriculum and I was inspired by one of the projects done by another GEC member on connecting to other schools around the world with the question - "How does where we live effect how we live?" If you have students who can speak or write/type in English, I have 12-13 year old students who would be interested in learning more about Sudan and the students in your school. And, we would love to share our culture as well. Would you be interested in doing a collaborative project? We could use a blog or wiki to communicate and, if you have a webcam, maybe we could plan a Skype session in the future.
