About Me/Reason for Joining the GEC:
I'm just starting my 14th year as an educator...special education is my "real job", but I am the official tech geek at our high school. I work with student with mild to moderate learning disabilities in grades 9-12 through a co-teaching program. I am physically in the classrooms for our 9th grade English, Physical Science, Biology and Advanced Algebra. I am also an adjunct at our local university where I teach preservice teachers about special education law and practice. This fall I am starting a doctorate program in educational leadership...and am so excited!
