I’m wondering from my tech and teacher friends out there. What path did you take to become tech coach, staff developer, and/or pd teacher, etc. I’m interested to know what types of coursework, experiences and the like may have been helpful to you...

I am seeking a global partner(s) for a project with my gr. 8 (age 13) students. They are taking "music technology" for 12 weeks. I would love to use web collab tools to engage the students in a discussion about music from other cultures. And music...

Sarah,

I am more than happy to help play/lead/whatever for All School Assembly. And, if there are ever any Lower School Assemblies that you would like me, . . . I could be there with some advanced notice, to get coverage for my Study Hall.

Thanks for your friendship to us both. I'm not sure what I would have done this year without you upstairs/nextdoor.

thanks,

Hi Sarah,
I have been outof the country for the Learning2.0 conference in Shanghai, so have not been able to contact our class music teacher until today. She (Diana Larsen) said that she would enjoy hearing from you. Diana is not on the Global Education Network, but her email address is dianal@isb.ac.th. Susan

Hi Sarah,
I was just comping upstairs to get ready for bed and saw your message. It is almost 9pm here....early, but tomorrow I am going to the Learning 2.0 Conference in Shanghai. There are about 12 of us going for our school, so we are all pretty excited! Good to hear from you. Susan

Stars Aligning Day

Today was just one of those days when the stars aligned quite nicely. Thursday is a busy day six classes, plus a meeting between class two and three. The quick pace did not seem to effect that the children were on a roll.

Kindergarten and Prefirst were examining sounds that are different. We began with very obvious differences, the hand drum, egg shaker, and triangle. About 90% of my children were very receptive to this lesson and also followed directions very well for the first experie… Continue
