I am an educator and a researcher interested in adolescent literacy, computer-supported collaborative learning, and teacher development, with a specific focus on practitioner inquiry and communities of practice.
I work as the Certificate of Teaching Mastery Coordinator at Teachers Without Borders, a Seattle-based non-profit that supports teacher leaders, worldwide, with professional development opportunities and tools that connect them with information and each other so that they may play a more vital role in their communities.
You will find more information about me on the bio page of my blog of proximal development, where I write about adolescent literacy, teacher education, and teaching and learning in the 21st century. I use Tumblr to keep track of resources that relate to my research interests. You can also find me on Twitter and Flickr.
