New job!
Hi All -
Just wanted to share that I'll be starting a new job in July at the University of Chicago Center for Urban School Improvement. I'll be a lead technology coach in a charter school two days a week, and developing and implementing a professional development tech plan during the rest of my time. It should be a challenge and a great opportunity to develop a new skill set. I'm excited, but nervous and a tad sad as I do love my current job. At any rate, I hope to connect my new school with classrooms around the world and will be looking for projects once I get acclimated! Also, I'm helping to transition a new person into my old job... anyone interested in a middle school computer science position at the Lab Schools? Let me know!

Congrats... I am extremely jealous... I am in the process of applying for Administrative positions. Not that Administration interests me so much, but its the place in the organization you can really make some changes.
Will you try to get out to CA any time? We are re-doing the GoogleIT sessions at the CLHS/CUE conference in November in Monterey. I think there is probably going to be a big blow out at the full CUE in March in Palm Springs.
I'll keep in touch with what is going on!

- Lucy, this sounds fantastic! Congratulations. I would love to hear more about how things develop and what you discover! I will keep my eye out and see if I am able to launch into some project with you in the future.
