Hi there Valerie - i'm delighted to hear that your chn have been videoconferencing using Skype! Unfortunately, the area/zone that i teach in (Melbourne/Australia) blocks the skype dowlnoad and prevents us teachers from using the software. So kids are missing out on this amazing web2.0 lesson of Skyping.

Can you please, honestly tell me do you have any security issues with the kids using Skype? Is it possible that other poeple can/do 'hack' into when folks are v/conf'ing and interfere? Or is this just absolute rubbish?
