Helping Teachers and Students Reach the World

Mrs. Archer

Whoever You Are!

Mem Fox was RIGHT! Whoever you are, you are valuable and special. I've set up a wiki for children to tell others just how valuable and special they are. This wiki will encourage children ages 6-9 to explore their family heritage and create a wiki page about different countries. It is a simple, low committment project with a lot of potential. (It should only take a week to complete). Children have been asked to use first names only and teachers are the only ones who can sign them up. This project could be completed as an entire class about their home country or by each student to tell about their country's heritage. My class begins this project on Monday, so I'm rolling the dice and see what happens. If anyone is interested in joining up, check out the pbwiki at http://whoeveryouare.pbwiki.com/. My email address is teach@allisonarcher.com We hope others will be interested.
